Fast Al's, Cork City

Fast Al's has been a staple of Cork life since they were founded way back in 2003. What started as a single location now operates three city centre stores, serving delicious slices from morning until late at night. If you're after a quick, quality slice in Cork, this is the name everyone knows.

A Cork Institution

Having visited Fast Al's multiple times, I reckon the quality of the pizza is actually really good and it delivers on a lot of different metrics. Over twenty years in business and three stores doesn't happen by accident. They've earned their place as a fixture of Cork city life.

The Value

You can get the deal, which is the best value going. It works out at about €10 for two slices and a can of drink. There are also various student offers running throughout the week, so if you are in the college crowd it is even better value. For a fast, filling feed in the city centre, it is hard to beat.

The Food

What I like about Fast Al's is that they load it with cheese. The pizza tastes pretty damn good and two slices is more than enough to fill you up. I particularly like the Cajun Chicken slice and the Hawaiian. Both definitely worth a try if you're in Cork.

One thing worth knowing going in. This is a chunky pizza with a lot of cheese and a lot of ingredients. It's not the light, thin crust pizza that some people like. Two slices will fill you up.

There are a couple of other pizza places in Cork still on the list to try, but Fast Al's sets the pace as a quality staple of the city.

Fast Al's is a Cork classic for good reason. Great value, generous toppings, proper slices, and locations across the city centre that are open from morning to late night. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch, a student feed, or a late-night slice, it delivers. One of the best pizza slices in Cork, no question.
