Flyte Golf's lesson schedule has finally been released, and it looks quite good to be fair. As Cork Xtra was the facility's first ever customer (you can read our full Flyte Golf Studio review here), it only makes sense that we'd be among the first to bring you the details on the lessons too.
The Coach
The lessons are being delivered by Colin Maguire, who is the head coach at Douglas Golf Club. That's a serious bit of pedigree to bring to the party, and it'll be interesting to see how the lessons play out on the Trackman setup at Flyte. Having a coach of that calibre in a city-centre indoor facility is a genuine win for Cork golfers looking to work on their game year-round.
The Schedule
Colin is offering lessons on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Flyte Golf facility in the Marina. Sessions run from 8am to 10am, so they're well suited to anyone wanting to get a lesson in before work or at the start of the day.
The Prices
The lesson pricing is laid out as follows:
- 30 minutes - €65
- 45 minutes - €90
- 1 hour - €110
There are also bundle options for those wanting to commit to a proper block of coaching:
- 5 x 30-minute sessions - €300
- 3 x 1-hour sessions - €300
The bundles bring the per-session cost down nicely, so if you're serious about improving they're the better value route.
Our Take
On the face of it, this is a strong offering. A respected head coach, a quality Trackman facility in a handy city-centre location, and fair pricing that stacks up well. It'll be interesting to see how busy the lessons get and how they compare with the other lesson providers around the city.
